Microsoft Windows |Windows server 2008 R2 enable icmp request without Filesharing

Today I had to figure out how to enable ICMP request from a server without enabling file sharing. to do this you have to open the command prompt. (administrative mode) Enter the following command: netsh firewall set icmpsetting 8 now filesharing is not enabled but you are able to ping the server.
