Removing Windows 7 or 2008 server Service pack 1 backup files via command line

How to remove the backup files of Windows 7 or Windows 2008 server R2 Service Pack 1 via the command line. First you have to open a Command prompt with Administrative privileges.

You have to type “DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /SPSuperseded” press “Enter

You will see the following output when it’s finished. You can run defragmentation but it’s not needed. It’s optional.

This is a quick way to remove old Service Pack Backup files from your system.
